Together, they show how Life Recovery meets people where they are and supports lasting change from every angle.

Patrick’s testimony with came to believe retreat

Patrick Tourville bravely takes the stand at the Came to Believe Retreat, sharing his journey of recovery and the triumphs, milestones, and achievements he has overcome along the way. His testimony is shared with one purpose—to create change and, one day, save a life.

Came to Believe is rooted in the foundation laid by the four founders in 1938 through the Big Book, where over 100 men and women found recovery of mind, body, and soul. That foundation is why we do what we do today—continuing to share the message, offer hope, and walk alongside our peers in recovery.
